The study and practice of environmental planning has evolved to the point of being an integral part of the language of development. For example; remediation and mitigation are perhaps the two most common words used when discussing environmental concerns in the built environment. In order to deliver a responsible, defendable environmental solution, the assembled team of specialists must work together towards a common goal. As landscape architects our role is to provide the overall vision, design strategy and support needed to consolidate the scientific resources and combine them in a solutions that respects human integration and the environment.
