At Islington Woods in Woodbridge, a successful marriage of planning and landscape architecture results in an interesting and attractive streetscape, atypical of subdivision development. As part of a mutlidisciplinary design team, Don Naylor and Associates helped to design human-scaled streetscape elements, and neighbourhood green spaces that contribute to a sense of community. The firm was awarded an Urban Design Award of Distiction (1999) for this project by the City of Vaughan.
