Don Naylor and Associates Ltd. was retained by Monarch Homes to provide landscape architectural services for an extensive, multi-phased residential development in Oakville. This neighbourhood is designed to reflect the unique natural setting of the Bronte Creek ravine and efforts have been made to help preserve the beauty and integrity of the site. As such, the complexities of this project have given the firm the opportunity to provide a wide range of specialized services including the development of a conceptual master plan for the renaturalization of the Bronte Creek ravine, the creation of a Home Owner’s Handbook designed to provide residents with information on how they can help protect and enhance the environmental integrity of the valley, as well as the production of landscape plans for all other aspects of the development ranging from storm water management facilities to entry feature design.
