Don Naylor and Associates were retained by the City of Brampton to provide a detailed restoration planting design for a section of the Fletcher's Creek Valley System that had become particularly degraded due to ongoing development in the area. The goal of the project was to kick start the processes of natural succession and revegetation by introducing native plantings to the riparian areas and side slopes of the Valley. The firm worked with a plant list provided by the City and designed the layout and implementation strategy for planting. The overall effect of the new plant communities on the valley is quite impressive. The organic layout of the plant beds, serves to create an aesthetically pleasing landscape for the residents of the Fletcher's Creek Community to enjoy.
